The human body has about 96 000km of blood vessels.
The biggest blood vessel is the Aortic artery and delivers the blood from the left ventricle (heart) to the body. It is about 2.5-3.5 cm in diameter, and 30-40cm long.
The smallest blood vessels are called capillary, and are just 5-10 μm in diameter

The adult body has 206 bones, while a newborn infant has between 300 and 350 bones.
Some of these bones fuse together over time, and form one bone e.g the skull.
The hands and feet combined make up for over half of all the bones in the body.
There are 27 bones in each hand, and 26 in each foot.
The longest bone in the body is the femur (about 1/4 of the body height), while the Stirrup in the ear is the smallest with about 1/10 of an inch.

The world’s deadliest animal is?

No, not the snake, and it’s not the shark either.

It’s the mosquito! Worldwide over one million people die every year by mosquito transmitted diseases like malaria. Only the females suck blood, because they need the protein & iron from the blood to produce their eggs.

To cover up is the best protection.
